The Main Program is primarily an ensemble based program that includes orchestras, stage bands, symphonic bands, string groups and vocal groups ranging from junior to advanced levels. All instrumental ensembles except the stage bands receive tutorials for each section, in addition to full group rehearsals.

The Main Program also includes specialist activities: The Young Conductor and Young Composer Program, Careers in Music Seminar and also junior keyboard programs.

All instrumental ensembles and the Music Theatre Group will perform at the Melbourne Town Hall or Iwaki Auditorium.

January 13 - 15, 2010
The Prelude Program offers a wide variety of workshops and classes including VCE Solo Performance, Jazz Improvisation and Rhythm Section, Composition, Alexander Technique, Aural, Theory and various Masterclasses.
