The Melbourne Youth Orchestra is recognised as one of the finest orchestral training programs in Australia, existing to promote the artistic, personal and professional development of highly gifted young instrumentalists. By offering a program of elite performance and educational activities, the Melbourne Youth Orchestra helps participants develop the full complement of skills required of the best ensemble musicians today.
The orchestra regularly collaborates with leading guest conductors, esteemed Australian soloists and the finest tutors from Melbourne’s professional music scene.
